The animations are smooth, most can be dash canceled which makes it easy to dodge. The 60% shield from transformation (and the 50% shield from fiery escape) is VERY nice everywhere there is chip damage or dots. The general squishyness of the class makes him binary tho: you are either full life and shielded or dead.I'm probably biased but shadow hunter is some of the most fun I've had in a long time. I went from Berserker to Soulfist. I may MVP way more on Berserker but Soulfist is so damn fun and satisfying, gives off such a strong Dragonball vibe. Very investment heavy and takes quite a bit of practice to pilot it. Personally, I'd suggest picking a DPS class as your first for the story, getting to Punika and then boosting a support with the Punika pass.For me, Destroyer and Eso striker, and planning on making EO soulfist or gunlancer to see who I enjoy the most. It's still doable with a support but it goes through much faster if you have a dps that has large aoes or that has higher movement speed/skills. Blade and shadow are both fun and enjoyable classes that are decent in their own right and very satisfying to use your combos. Sorceress is there to nuke things from afar. Gunlancer is very tanky and a great balance in consideration of the warrior class. Scrapper is a well balanced class.. Used sliding glass doors

So far, the endgame content I'm enjoying the most is Monster Hu- uh, I mean, Guardian raids. I'm really enjoying soloing them. One class that I'm already playing is Striker - I'm really enjoying it for group play and PvP, but I find it a little frustrating to use in solo due to lack of overall push immunities and over reliance on back attacks Chances are, you won't regret it. Anyhow as for beginner alts, Recommended : Sorc, zerk, artillerist, shadow hunter. Dont's : wardancer, gunlancer, soulfist, sharpshooter (situational), and supports (bard/pally) The ones I mentioned for "don't" are classes that either suck at lower tiers (soulfist/wardancer) or are a chore/pain to do dailies in ... Paladin is the most fun to progress. But half of lost ark player base jsut want to get bussed anyway so they don't care. There's definitely an issue with how paladins are generally perceived. Personally, I'd suggest picking a DPS class as your first for the story, getting to Punika and then boosting a support with the Punika pass. Paladin is the most fun to progress. But half of lost ark player base jsut want to get bussed anyway so they don't care. There's definitely an issue with how paladins are generally perceived. Just over all a really fun class, it’s like a male sorceress but doesn’t hit as hard and can actually take a few hits.Get 10 points into charged shot to make it instant cast as fast as you can. Makes everything easier until you can start getting other moves up to 10 etc. one-shot most mobs up until mid 40s and by then you’ll have 3+ moves at lvl 10. 2.GS is one of the most expensive classes. Lost Ark Sorceress has all the things I want to see when I create a mage for an MMO: way too sexy outfits and and way too impressive spells :) I went for Reflux because when I started to game pre lv50 I would always forget to use igniter during boss fights which is a completely dumb point but lmao this was the best decision of my Lost Ark life. I don't think there are any winrate stats publicly available, but soulfist is a good class in PvP in my opinion. It has really strong burst. When you're not in hype level 3 your damage isn't very good but you can focus on peeling for teammates until you have your burst back up. .
